Next up, the Princeps Senoris of my favourite maniple style in the game, the Ferrox! Princeps Senoris Agdex is a lead from the front type homie. He has a flair for destruction and more often than not, his Assault Reaver Titan - Mors Miles isn't spared from copping it either. I play Mors Miles and it's matching counterpart Atro Messorum quite aggressively, often pushing the two up together then rotating the lead titan so they can share the damage taken before dishing it back out within the Melta half range. In the most recent event, Mors Miles was detonated in 2/5 games due to this play style but it created opportunities to take the objectives or for other Titans in the battlegroup to get the kill shots while also claiming quite a few engine kills of his own. Hey y'all, I've still been chipping away at Adeptus Titanicus stuff. I really freaking love this game and was lucky enough to get a spot to go and play at Act of Heresy V in January so wanted to get everything finished and ready for the event. I wrote a short piece for each of the Titans and created a Princeps for them, I'll open batting with the big kahuna, Princeps Maxima Dhrykax in his Warlord Titan, the Deus Bellum. I normally go small time with my character creations (Sergeants, Lieutenants, Centurions and the like) but because it seems that I'm one of the only guys on the planet who's really committed to Legio Vulpa from the game release, I've gone big and named the boss himself. I doubt Black Library or the Forgeworld Specialist Games team will ever swing back around to them again and they've had their moment in the sun with Titandeath so I'm going to develop more of the back story and own the Legio one bit of narrative at a time. Hey gang, Heres a comic style Adeptus Titanicus Battle Report from a game I played the other day. 1500pts, fully painted Axiom Maniples from Legio Tempestus (My mate Marcus) and my my Legio Vulpa and House Makabius. Yoyo, Ive got some finished pics of my Warlord Titan, Nuntio Dolores, based off the featured titan in the Black Library Novel, Titandeath, released earlier this year. I actually finished it a couple of months ago but I forgot to upload photographs here.. Hey gang, I've neglected the blog a bit lately but I've been doing a podcast called 'Echoes From The Wasteland' with a mate as well as a bunch of painting that I need to post up.  It's a very casual setup, it's pretty well all Horus Heresy 30k gaming and Adeptus Titanicus talk. It's available on all podcast platforms as far as I can tell and we have a Facebook page setup too. It's been fun to get it all figured out anyway and have something online that showcases a bit of what we have on locally. Yew! Jackie

Ayo, Put a pin in the painting of the Warlord and Reavers to get these two built up so I can catch them up to the batch before I got too far ahead. There's a dude on Instagram called the Polysmith, I don't know if they blog or not but the converted 28mm Warhound they did just Knicks the posing right out of the park, it's by far the best Titan I've seen pose wise. I took heavy inspiration for the converted AT Warhound I've done from their works, it required cutting both legs into three sections, compressing one as much as possible and extending the other out to pretty well straight. I had to rebuild the pistons front and rear on the extended leg which leads into the feet, they were also pretty extensively modified, I drilled the pins out of each of the toes, trimmed them back and reposed them on a new pin made from styrene rod. I then remade the toe pistons with more styrene and some thin wire. I'm stoked on the pose, it really looks like it's on the go and w...

Ahoy, I knocked out the purple panels for these 3 guys last night, next up will be the bone white trim and some chassis detailing with the airbrush before I start to pick out highlights and hit it with some oils. Cheers Jackie

Yo, I pushed the contrast on the 'Rust' coloured armour plating further with a modulated orange pass to get it where I wanted it. The scheme on the wiki says rust panels with a bone coloured trim but I've seen a model at the open day where they did purple contrast panels and it looked alright.  Their whole scheme had a cobwebbing kinda look to it, I'm not keen on it over all but I've decided I'll do the steel wool marbling technique under the purple (grey scale with a clear purple top coat) so it kinda lines up if they go that way with the book art. Howdy, I picked out a team, I'm going Legio Vulpa now so I made a bit of a start on the brown just to see how it felt. I think the one forgeworld had on display features a chassis that was too bright so I'm going to keep mine quite dark with Tamiya Dark Iron as the base and some small highlights with a mix of that and Gunmetal. I also made some rock pillars to suit the scale and will rip up a few tiles of cork to make a Rocky outcrop that can surround the city terrain. I've gotta head down to the local hobby shop now and get some purple colours and a bit more masking tape then I can get onto the panel painting properly. The scheme for those that don't know is Rusty Brown/Red and Purple Panels with Bone White trim. The knights I will paint in House Makabius colouring. Cheers! Jackie

Yo! I  saw some awesome Epic scale 30k era vehicles and it took me a while to track some down through a friend of a friend of a friend kinda thing, now everything's in the one place and I've got a bit of mojo it's time to go (I've had all these kits built since their releases). The vehicles I got are a bunch of wee Solar Aux stuff. 3 Leman Russ Incinerators, 2 Dracosan, 2 Arvus Lighters (I crashed one on the Warlord base), a Malcador and one of the Baneblade variants with the big plasma. I've used up 3 on the bases so far and will mix the others into the scenery to help reinforce the immersion in the epic scale. I just ordered a pair of Warhounds too so my next project is building them, the other Reaver and painting up the full 5 Titan Axiom Maniple with a side of Knights to give me pretty well an exact 1750pts to play. I'll document the progress on here as I go along and some of the terrain work I do. Cheers Jackie
