30k Death Guard - Leviathan, Tactical Squads and Veterans - Completed Pics

Hey y'all,

I had to put the hobby biz away for a few months due to work and moving house but I just fired it up again and got some of the stuff I airbrushed back in feb/march finished.

I've still been updating my Instagram account from time to time too if you want to keep track of the WIP's and stuff. Check it out at https://www.instagram.com/bad.credentials.hobby/ with the username being bad.credentials.hobby.

Anyway started out getting a few infantry finished up, 2x10 Tac Squads and a Marksman Vet squad with Combi-plas and a Heavy Flamer, they join the 15 Lascannon Heavy Support marines as the bodies of my DG force.

I also got the always amazing Leviathan Dreadnought finished up, infantry are kinda meh but I love how this guy turned out and I had a lot of fun painting and weathering him.

I'm working on a Castigator Knight right now to finish off my House Makabius Knight army and am about half way along.

Anyway check the pics below and I'll have a few fresh pics of a done Castigator hopefully by the weekend.

xx
Jack

Nice to see that you are still here. As always a great paint jobb. I really like the levethian, but the drillbits look a bit bright and shiney. Are you making an all infantery army or will there be armor as well? Looking forward to see how this develops.

He's alive! Welcome back man - Really digging the DG, good stuff!
Hey guys!

Really appreciate the love, I'm glad I'm back.

I get down on the disposability of the social platforms, blogging is still where it's at.

Agis: I went with a Ti-Nitride style coating which I figured wouldn't wear or corrode, like you find on high end drill bits and stuff.

There will be a little armour but it's going to be mostly infantry if I can help it to be true to the DG themes in the early Horus Heresy books.

Cheers guys!
Jack

Acastus Knight Porphyrion COMPLETED!!!!!

Acacstus Knight Porhpyrion, easily the biggest and most complex kit build and paint job I have ever done for a gaming miniature. I'm really happy with the result but the 60 hrs I spent on getting it finished kinda baked my noodle. I have no idea how the titan painters get through it! Anyway here are some studio shots, let me know what you think! Mors Miles - The Death Knight - Legio Vulpa Maniple 13.

Next up, the Princeps Senoris of my favourite maniple style in the game, the Ferrox! Princeps Senoris Agdex is a lead from the front type homie. He has a flair for destruction and more often than not, his Assault Reaver Titan - Mors Miles isn't spared from copping it either. I play Mors Miles and it's matching counterpart Atro Messorum quite aggressively, often pushing the two up together then rotating the lead titan so they can share the damage taken before dishing it back out within the Melta half range. In the most recent event, Mors Miles was detonated in 2/5 games due to this play style but it created opportunities to take the objectives or for other Titans in the battlegroup to get the kill shots while also claiming quite a few engine kills of his own. G'day g'day, I've been slowly chipping away at some more Titans and I'm starting to get a decent Maniple of engines on the go now so I thought it was a good time to update the blog!
